Branch Manager
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and oversee all branch operations, ensuring the achievement of business objectives, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing team, driving sales and business development, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring consistently high service standards. The role will also involve promoting a safe, productive, and professional working environment, monitoring branch performance, implementing strategies to achieve business objectives, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement. The Branch Manager will provide strategic leadership and ensure the efficient delivery of products and services while contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency and smooth service delivery.
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve individual and branch performance goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business targets and increase branch profitability.
- Manage key accounts as determined by management.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while handling customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress, maintain relationships, and ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor branch financial performance, including budgets, expenses, cash flow, and revenue.
- Attend meetings related to project initiation and administration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, sales, and operational activities.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and implement initiatives to improve branch performance.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, high performance, and excellent customer service.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- N6 qualification.
- Relevant professional certifications will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous Syspro experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 3–5 years’ experience in Product Management.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Proven experience in Operations Management, Sales, Customer Service, and Team Leadership.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
